codenoodle is a software engineering studio. This policy explains what information this website collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it — and how Code Noodle Ads Manager, the internal tool we use to run our own advertising, handles data received from Google APIs. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Information we collect
When you send us a message through the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you type into it. That is the only information you actively give us on this site.
Like any website, our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically record technical data when a page is served — such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. These logs exist to keep the site running securely and are not used to build a profile of you.
What we don't collect
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or third-party tracking scripts. There are no accounts or logins here, and we do not ask for payment details or location data.
How we use it
We use what you send through the contact form solely to read your enquiry, reply to it, and keep a record of the correspondence. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell, rent or trade your information with anyone.
Who we share it with
Your message is stored on our own infrastructure and handled by the service providers we rely on to run it — hosting, storage and email delivery — acting on our instructions. Beyond that, we share your information only where we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
We keep contact enquiries for as long as they are useful to the conversation and to any work that follows from it, then delete them. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and diagnostics. You can ask us to delete your message sooner at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Our apps
This policy covers the codenoodle.com website only. The apps we build handle their own data and each has its own privacy policy:
When we build software for a client, that client is responsible for the data their product collects; we handle it only as needed to do the work, under the terms of our agreement with them.
Code Noodle Ads Manager
Code Noodle Ads Manager is an internal tool we built to run Code Noodle, MB's own Google Ads advertising. It is used only by our own personnel, is not available to anyone outside the company, and handles no data belonging to clients or to visitors of this site.
To do its job the tool connects to the Google Ads API on our behalf. A member of our team signs in with their Google Account and authorises access to the Google Ads accounts owned by Code Noodle, MB, using the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords scope. The Google user data we receive through that authorisation is limited to what the API returns for those accounts — campaigns, ad groups, keywords and performance figures — along with the OAuth token that keeps the connection open and the account identifiers Google attaches to it.
We use that data for one purpose: planning, running and reporting on our own advertising. Tokens and campaign data are held on our own infrastructure, reachable only by the people who operate the tool, and deleted or revoked when they are no longer needed. The person who authorised the tool can withdraw that access at any time from their Google Account permissions.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Code Noodle Ads Manager's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request only the access the tool needs to manage our own advertising, we use the data only for that purpose, we do not sell it or transfer it to third parties except where the law requires, and we do not use it to train generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes are posted on this page with a new revision date above.
